WHO WE ARE
Echo Point Books & Media was founded in Vermont in 2002, in the basement of a log cabin on a dirt road off a dirt road. Originally an outgrowth of the environmental quarterly Green Living Journal, the business began with one part-time employee and a focus on selling damaged books through partnerships with top quality publishers. After nearly a decade of successful bookselling, in 2011 Echo Point republished its first out of print book. Now, in addition to selling books online, we are also a full-service publisher. Echo Point handles editing, design, and marketing, using our savvy with online book marketplaces to bring attention to the titles we publish.
Today we’re proud to employ over 30 people and operate out of a 45,000 square foot warehouse in a former printing factory in Brattleboro, Vermont. In addition to being one of the largest online booksellers in the country, Echo Point publishes over 800 of our own print titles, runs an in-house alternative book-binding operation, and publishes audiobooks.
At Echo Point Books & Media, we aim to help original content creators and publishers maximize their work's reach, as well as their income. With over 2 million books sold (and counting), we pride ourselves on our inside knowledge of publishing and selling books and our passion for helping our partners reach their full potential.
Echo Point is firmly committed to working exclusively with human narrators. Read our statement on AI Narration here.
